THE DIGS Ok, so binding is the key to digging. pressing multiple keys against a wall will actually dig your cycle into the wall. Here are examples of different digs and how to do them:
- STAB: No binding necessary. Just simply go straight into a wall and hesitate as long as you can before turning.
- TWO KEY: When approaching a wall, rapidly press left and right at the same time to do a simple dig. Remember to watch your rubber.
- FOUR KEY (DOUBLES): When you approach a wall, turn either left or right first. Then quickly double bind back and forth (i.e. left and left, then right and right, etc.) to do a more advanced dig. Remember that if you turn left first, you have to double bind right to stay against the wall.
- SIX AND EIGHT KEY: In my opinion, 6 and 8 key digs work best if you use the main part of the keyboard (the letters). Try binding your keys in alternating directions like this:
Now, with this layout, place your fingers over all of the keys you intend to use. If it's six, press the first three together (z, x and c), then the second three (v, b and n). Do this rapidly back and forth. For eight press the first four (z, x, c and v), then the second four (b, n, m and <).
