It's easy to get lazy on hooks and not complete them all the way: But many forget that these hooks are almost pointless and a total waste of speed. They are extremely easy to escape under. However, a well calculated hook, that ends parallel to the base wall, is extremely deadly as the escaper must fit in a tiny hole that you've created. This is especially effective in killing double-binders.

This is one of the most deadly traps! You can win by just using doubles. Especially if there's a lot of turns. One ins't deadly, but it sure is time taking. But when there's multiple ones, you can almost assure death Take Noodz for example, who has mastered this.
