Ever wish you could escape some of the traps that almost look impossible to escape? Well, Here's some tips to help you do just that.
For the basics of escaping, go to the beginners guide.
The Key thing you need to practice for escaping is to be faster at it then the trapper. Also, remember one key thing. Digging is VERY essential for escaping.
-Double every corner you can when you're sure you can bypass it without triples.
- If a Gap seems to closed in, Dig the wall that you're next to before trying to go threw it. (DIG IT HARD) Once You've digged, go IN the double, come back, stab the corner by SINGLE binding twice to the direction you're escaping. No matter how tight that double is, i can assure you that you will get out if you do this.
-Digging is not only essential to actually dig walls, but to dig out of nowhere. When you have no clue what to do, or you just want to stall for a little bit of time to give you a second or two to think, dig dig dig. I found this to be very helpful, and gives you more time to think. If you do this quite often, you'll start to learn about "The Wiggle". It's kind of like twitching out of any trap. o.o
- This may sound a little noobie, but USA YOUR FKING BRAKE. I've noticed that a lot of pro's that claim they don't use it, actually do. Now there are some restrictions on this. Don't have your brake on all the time, or put it on for every trap you encounter. Don't use brake on the traps you're sure to pass. But when you see a trap ahead that you know you will have issues with, freaking turn it on and use it.
*Escaping is not that hard once you get the movement of your fingers down, just plan ahead and be ready for the unexpected*
-Some very useful expertises that I've used on myself and others to help improve their Escape is doubling after every SINGLE LITTLE CORNER. Try twitching, then going back over the twitching you just made and doubling every single little corner on your twitch.
-Tight DF also helps you escape better in the real thing. It gives you more rubber, yes, but you learn how to escape out of traps. Then when you return to actual loose you'll do it way faster before you die.
